It is essential for everyone to have breakfast in the morning, as it is widely recognized as the most important meal of the day. Research indicates that starting the day with a nutritious breakfast not only prepares us for the day ahead but also helps reduce the urge to snack on unhealthy foods.
This doesn't mean you can snack at all, just indulge in healthy snacks like fruits, nuts or salads.
Lunch should be a fairly substantial meal, this can include rice, potato, meat/chicken or seafood and importantly vegetables. We shouldn't until we burst but in moderation.
If you prefer, dinner can be a light meal, but it's crucial to avoid going to bed immediately after eating. Ideally, dinner should be enjoyed at a reasonable hour, such as with family after school or work. It's best to steer clear of eating after 9pm and try to avoid greasy foods, as your digestion tends to slow down at night, which could lead to indigestion or acid reflux.
