Depression is a devastating state of mind that can not be taken lightly. Actual clinical depression is a psychological condition where a person suffers from extreme feelings of hopelessness and despair. A person can feels so low that they even lose all their self worth and take pity on themselves to the extent that nothing could be said or done to remedy the situation and make them feel better.
It can take professional counselling and or medication to treat. So please don't use the word depression lightly. If you are feeling sad don't go telling people your depressed. If you are feeling a bit low because of an argument or you lost something - it doesn't mean you are depressed. You make well be stressed but depression is a totally different category.
If you are depressed then please get help and I hope you pull through it but don't claim you are depressed when you are not and lessen the seriousness of it. You are actually more resilient than you think.
If you are feeling down in the dumps then I suggest relaxing yoga or a refreshing cup of camomile tea and also aromatherapy. These work for me so hopefully they can help you too.
